🌿 About Margaux

Hi, I’m Margaux! A stepmom, counselor, and Pacific Northwest native who believes in growing slow and living with soul. I started Rooted in the Rain as a place to share what grounds me: gentle parenting, intentional self-care, and the beauty of everyday life in this wild, rainy corner of the world.

Here, I write about things that matter: raising kind humans, connecting with pets and plants, choosing natural materials, and making time for rest. I believe that when we care for ourselves, our homes, and our communities (even in small, simple ways) we all grow stronger.

Whether you're here for low-tox living tips, soulful parenting reminders, or just a cozy corner of calm, welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

In the rain, we root. In the wild, we grow.

I also create calming, nature-inspired resources for home and classroom — including conversation cards, classroom décor, and emotional learning tools. You can explore them here: 🌲 My TpT Shop | 🪴 My Etsy Store

What I’m rooted in!

These are the guiding branches of Rooted in the Rain: spaces where nature, connection, and kind-hearted living meet.

Rooted in the rhythms of the Pacific Northwest, we slow down, breathe deep, and find beauty in wild, rainy wonder.

Creating a home that feels safe, grounded, and joy-filled. For your family and your furry companions alike.

More than bubble baths… this is about tending to your spirit, protecting your peace, and honoring your own needs with care.

Stories and practices that deepen our ties to each other, to tradition, and to something bigger than ourselves.

Gentle, emotionally aware parenting that nurtures empathy, resilience, and kindness from the inside out.

Choosing a simpler, more conscious life with earthy habits, low-tox swaps, and a return to what truly matters.
